VA 409 - Flow direction switch for compressed air systems

The VA 409 thermal flow direction switch with direction indicator is used to detect the flow direction of Compressed air / gases, especially in Circular pipelines.

The VA 409 with direction indicator detects the flow direction of the compressed air quickly and reliably. Compared to the previous mechanical paddle switches, the VA 409 recognises even the smallest changes in Flow direction quickly, without mechanical movement.

The direction information in the form of a potential-free contact (NC contact max. 60 VDC, 0.5 A) is transmitted to the VA 500 / VA 520 Consumption sensors or to a separate building management system (BMS). Two LEDs indicate the Flow direction.

In conjunction with 2 VA 500 / VA 520 Consumption sensors, incoming and outgoing Compressed air can be precisely measured in Circular pipelines.
